THE WILD WAY
The Wild Way delivers psychologically informed, nature-based interventions designed to support wellbeing, resilience, and positive change.
We offer nature-based therapeutic programmes, 1:1 wilderness therapeutic sessions, team wellbeing days, and bespoke programmes for organisations, communities, and individuals. Our work combines time in nature, practical outdoor experiences, and evidence-informed psychological approaches to create meaningful, engaging experiences that support lasting change.
What We Offer
Nature-Based Interventions
Our nature-based interventions are designed around the needs of specific groups and communities, using the outdoors as a setting for meaningful, evidence-informed work. We develop and deliver targeted programmes focused on mental health and wellbeing, ADHD, substance misuse and recovery, violence prevention and reduction, men's wellbeing, and other identified needs, combining nature, practical activity, and psychologically informed approaches to support positive change.
1:1 Nature-Based Therapeutic Sessions
We offer personalised support in natural outdoor settings, combining psychologically informed approaches with nature immersion, practical activity, and therapeutic reflection. Sessions are tailored to the individual's needs and can support mental health and wellbeing, personal development, confidence, emotional regulation, identity, and positive change. Our established programmes can also be adapted for 1:1 delivery, providing a more personalised approach based on individual needs and goals.
Team Wellbeing Days
Providing organisations with an opportunity to step away from the usual working environment and reconnect through shared experiences in nature. Designed for teams across a range of sectors, days can focus on wellbeing, connection, communication, resilience, or team cohesion, using practical outdoor activities and guided experience away from the workplace.
Bespoke Programmes
Developed in partnership with organisations to meet specific needs, priorities, and outcomes. We can tailor the content, format, duration, and setting to the population or workforce, drawing on nature-based practice, psychologically informed approaches, and practical outdoor activity. This allows The Wild Way to respond to specific commissioning priorities, organisational challenges, or the needs of particular groups.

With many years of experience working with individuals and groups in a trauma‑informed way, our facilitators are skilled at supporting people from a wide range of backgrounds with a wide range of needs.
Our facilitators carry up to date DBS certificates and are outdoor first aid trained to ensure the environment is safe and supportive, giving people the confidence to participate in a way that suits their needs.
